This is a summary of legal action brought by Mak Chee Chong and family against RockWills, a will writing company and trustee. In this case the family was in the impression that paying for the will writing was the expenses involved. However, they were shocked when the company required them to pay the sum of RM 47,559.20 based on the scale fee to apply for the probate. The family refuse to pay the sum because they were under the impression that the sum paid for the will writing process was sufficient and they were misinformed. The court made the decision that Rockwill can be removed as the executor of the will.

A better option is just to make your benificiary the executor or elect some other individual which you trust to administrate the property, particularly if you have only a few properties.
